东营真是“人杰地灵”
缪迪·吉米·旺加吉是特邀的国外优秀运动员。由于旅途疲劳，第一次来中国的他感到身体不适。5月13日中午乘飞机抵达东营后，缪迪·吉米·旺加吉就出现了难忍的头疼。黄河口国际马拉松赛组委会的工作人员立即送他去了东营市人民医院做了检查。经过一天的调整，缪迪·吉米·旺加吉接受记者采访时，身体已经基本恢复了。他说，吃饭、睡觉就是调整的秘诀，自己会将身体调整到最佳状态参加15日的比赛。
问起对东营的印象，缪迪·吉米·旺加吉笑呵呵地告诉记者，到东营后感觉很轻松，很温暖、很舒服，空气特别清新，就是风比较大。东营市民特别热情，对运动员很友好，组委会周到的服务在别的国家很难享受到。过去参赛喝水有时需要向组委会索要，来到东营，工作人员会主动提供服务，这让他感到很满意。
中国有句老话叫“人杰地灵”，缪迪·吉米·旺加吉告诉记者，来到东营后，身体能恢复得这么快，也是东营这座城市带给他的幸运。缪迪·吉米·旺加吉是名优秀的运动员，凭着自己丰富的参赛经验，他会将自己调整到最佳的状态。
缪迪·吉米·旺加吉在15年的马拉松生涯中，曾经取得过非常显著的成绩，对于15日的比赛，缪迪·吉米·旺加吉充满了信心。我们期待着缪迪·吉米·旺加吉能在东营取得更优异的成绩！(记者 李琳 见习记者 纪海彦)
Dongying Is Really A Wonderful CityMuindi Jimmy Mwangangi is an invited excellent sportsman. Due to the long flight，the first trip to China made him feel a little discomfort. He had terrible headache when arrivied at DongYing by plane on the thirteenth. The organizers from the Yellow River Estuary International Marathon Organization Committee sent him to the Dong Ying People’s Hospital immediately and the doctor examined him carefully.
After one-day break， Muindi Jimmy Mwangangi has recovered. He told the reporter his secret of quick adjustment was having a sound sleep. He declared that he would take part in the competition with good condition on the fifteenth.
When asked his first expression of the DongYing， Muindi Jimmy Mwangangi said he felt relaxed in DongYing, comfortable and warm, and the air was also fresh. People in DongYing are warm-hearted and friendly. The service is full coverd, and the orgnizors are very considerate. In the previous competitions， he should ask the committee for drinks sometimes, while they were offered actively here, which he was satisfied with.
China has a saying， "the birth of heroes brings glory to a place”. Muindi Jimmy Mwanganji thought it was the city which brought him good luck that made his body recovered very fast. He was afraid of dropping out the race due to the health reasons before， but now， the worry has disappeared, and he will perform in good condition.
During his 15-year marathon career， Muindi Jimmy Mwanganji has acquired prominent grades. For the match of tomorrow， he is full of confidence. We wish Muindi Jimmy Mwanganji could achieve a better result.（By Li Lin and Ji HaiYan）
