东营很适合跑马拉松
大卫·詹姆斯·米钦森(DavidJamesMichinson)，是本次应邀而来的国外优秀运动员中唯一一名来自英国的选手。31岁的他已经在马拉松战场上征战了多年，有过多次大赛经验，曾在大不列颠全国半程马拉松冠军争夺赛中取得冠军。5月13日，记者对他进行了采访。这是大卫第一次来中国，5月12日他从伦敦出发，当天晚上到达北京，13日上午来到东营，大卫对东营的印象非常好，“东营给我的感觉很好，这里的河很漂亮！人非常友好，环境也很美，而且这里没有山，非常适合马拉松比赛。”采访中，大卫兴奋地用英语告诉记者。他表示，很希望能有时间在这座城市转一转，当记者邀请他晚饭时一块出去品尝一下东营本地的“中国菜”时，他的兴奋之情溢于言表，但由于领队担心会影响他正常休息对比赛成绩造成影响，因此建议他赛后再去品尝中国菜。
大卫今年31岁，已经是一个孩子的爸爸。据大卫介绍，他之前曾经参加过伦敦的马拉松比赛、阿姆斯特丹的马拉松比赛以及佛罗伦萨的马拉松比赛，曾在大不列颠全国半程马拉松冠军争夺赛中取得冠军。
对于本次比赛，大卫表示很期待，并一直在为此准备，“来东营之前，我每周要跑150公里，坚持了八周时间。”在经过两周的充分休息后，大卫来到了东营，为赛前做着最后的准备。大卫说，“这是一次高水平的比赛，我期望能与很多优秀选手一同竞技，赶超对手，争取跑出自己的最好水平，拿到好成绩。”
本次马拉松比赛结束以后，大卫计划参加9月份的世界冠军争夺赛和秋季即将举行的另一场马拉松比赛。(记者 陈同磊 见习记者 赵尔靖)
Dongying Is Good for Running as There Is No HillsDavid James Michinson is the only athelet from London who was invited to attend this race .Although he is 31 years old and father of a daughter，he had run for Marothon races for many times.What’s more，he won the national (Great Britain) half Marathon championship.
This is David’s first travel to China. He left London on May 12 and arrived in beijing in the evenning, and the morning he arrived in Dongying. He was very impressed with Dongying. He said happily to us， “Dongying is an amazing city.The waters and the YellowRiver is beautiful. It is good for running as there is no hill." When was invited for a sight seeing, David said he was glad to go out with us if he had any time, and he showed great interests in the local food. However， with the concern of the influences it might has, the leader suggested that he could go out to enjoy Chinese food after the race.
David has participated in London Marathon， Amsterdam Marathon and Florence Marathon before. “My greatest achievement is winning the national (Great Britain) half Marathon championships and running for Great Britain.” he said.
When asked the preparation for the race，he answered，“To prepare for this race， I ran 150kms per week for 8 weeks and then had a two weeks' recovery.” Then he said that he anticipated the race of good quality with lots of athletes who run fast. He hoped he can pace himself to cope with the hardness and overtake as others became tired.
At last，David said to us，“ After Dongying Marathon I will compete in the world Ovation Championship in September, and another Marathon contest in the autumn. ”（By Chen Tonglei and Zhao Erjing）
